Glengoyne Distillery Glengoyne Distillery
Glengoyne is Scotland’s most beautiful distillery. Situated in the Blane Valley, just north of the bustling City of Glasgow, Glengoyne’s cluster of picturesque white buildings nestle under the Campsie Hills, the Gateway to the Highlands. This traditional, hard-working distillery has been flourishing since 1833. But Glengoyne is no museum piece, far from it.

Today this fine tradition continues with our unique selection of award-winning Single Highland Malts, Single Casks and Special Vintages, still lovingly produced on the premises. Their range of distillery tours, in-depth nosing sessions, private dining and unique hospitality includes our legendary Master Blender sessions, when our guests create their own individual whisky to take home. The Glengoyne Distillery experience is incomparable.

Tours at Glengoyne

To fully experience the magic of Glengoyne, take advantage of one of their behind-the-scenes tours. Take in the processes, meet the experts, sample a dram, or even blend your own. Whatever your area of interest, they can tailor a tour exactly to your requirements.

The Glengoyne Tour
Guests are welcomed, offered a dram of Glengoyne 10 year old Single Highland Malt whisky, view a short video about the distillery and are taken on an informative and entertaining tour by one of our experienced Brands Heritage Assistants, ending at their Slainte Mhath Shop.

The Glengoyne Venue

During your visit, relax and savour the Glengoyne experience in the newly refurbished sumptuous surroundings of the Manager’s House. They have lovingly restored the house as a homage to days gone by, yet retained its character with a few stunning, contemporary twists.

Take your whisky knowledge to new levels in the spectacular Sample Room, with its hand crafted, light oak fixtures and fascinating array of sample bottles featuring whiskies at different stages of maturation from thousands of Glengoyne casks.

Here you can create your own unique blend of whisky, under the watchful eye of the expert blender. For those seeking an unusual venue for meetings and team-building activities, the Glengoyne Board Room offers excellent facilities for up to 16 people.

Alternatively of course, you might simply choose to relax and enjoy a dram in the Club Room surrounded by hand printed furnishings from hip Glasgow designers Timorous Beasties. Even the washrooms reflect their attention to detail with antique ironmongery from the Sir Thomas Crapper range.
