The Riverside Museum: Scotland’s Museums of Transport and Travel is now open. 

Glasgow’s well-loved Museum of Transport has relocated to this spectacular waterfront landmark that was designed by internationally-renowned architect, Zaha Hadid.  The Riverside Museum is her first major public building in the UK.

Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Mu​seum is one of Scotland's most popular free attraction and has 22 themed, state-of-the-art galleries displaying an astonishing 8000 objects.
 

Caithness Horizons opened to the public on the 1st December 2008 following the refurbishment of the Thurso Town Hall and adjacent Carnegie Library. Caithness Horizons was officially opened by His Royal Highness, The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothsey on 3rd August 2009. Since opening the Museum has been awarded a 5 Star Visitor Attraction rating by VisitScotland and it has achieved Full Museum Accreditation.

The museum takes you on a journey through time showing how local people lived and worked in Gairloch through the ages.
