Welcome to the Mull of Kintyre. Craigard House Hotel is an 1882 Victorian Mansion turned bijou hotel.
Full of original features the hotel has 13 rooms, most with sea view, all different - some large, some smaller - but all have ensuite bath and shower, huge fluffy towels, bathrobes, free WiFi, TV/DVD/CD player with Freesat and Sky TV, telephone, comprehensive welcome tray....
The Lochside Restaurant offers imaginatively prepared local seafood, shellfish, meat, produce, game and cheese.
Whether your visit is for business, tourism, golf, whisky, surfing, walking or simply lighthouse gazing, then the Kintyre Peninsular is for you.

 Craigard is an 1882 Victorian mansion in the Italianate style, given a facelift to make a bijou hotel.

South-facing and overlooking Campbeltown Loch, it is quiet but close to the harbour, airport, Machrihanish Golf Courses, Kintyre Way and Springbank Distillery.

Craigard has 13 bedrooms, all with fully-tiled en suite bathroom, inc bathtub and shower, Neutrogena toiletries, huge fluffy towels and bathrobes; Comprehensive welcome tray with Mineral Waters; Flatscreen TV with Freesat and Sky TV; Free WiFi

The a la carte Lochside Restaurant offers a range of dishes imaginatively prepared. Local seafood, shellfish such as Langoustines, Scallops, Crab, Mussels are always on the menu, along with locally farmed meat, produce, cheese and game. Breakfast is a hearty delight, with local smoked salmon, kippers and smoked salmon among the treats.

 

All guests benefit from 10% discount on Green Fees at Machrihanish Golf Club.

 

 

 


Facilities:

Craigard has 13 bedrooms - one junior suite, with super king four poster, sitting and dining area, and a magnificent bow window overloooking Campbeltown Loch; one superior double/family room with a king size bed and two single beds; five double/family rooms with a double bed and single bed; five standard double bedded rooms; and one single bedded room. Some rooms can accommodate more guests.

Some bedrooms are located on the ground floor, one has some disabled features and wheelchair access. There is wheelchair access to all the public rooms, from the nearby parking area.

There is ample parking alongside the hotel, and in a large car park to the rear of the hotel.

The Lochside Restaurant seats 34 guests, with superb sea views. The Lounge & Bar has the same sea view, with squidgy chairs, flatscreen TV, books, magazines and games. The well-stocked bar has a range of real Ales, selected wines from Old and New World and a super selection of Single Malts.

There is free WiFi in all rooms and public areas, and also a business centre with PC and printer. There is a garden with patio seating.

Facilities include laundry service, packed lunches, early breakfasts, one stop shop for travel arrangements, tee times or distillery visits.

Dogs are welcome by arrangement


Rates:

Rates vary from room to room – with an old house having rooms of different sizes and views.
Standard double room from £75 low season, £82 high season.
Large twin or family room with double and single bed from £85 low season, £92 high season.
Superior sea view twin or family room with double and single bed from £90 low season, £95 high season.
Huge four poster junior suite with sitting and dining area and magnificent bow window overlooking the sea from £105 low season, £135 high season.
Standard single room from £57 low season, £65 high season.
All rates are per room per night and include accommodation, VAT tax and full breakfast.
