Heatherdale Bed and Breakfast is ideally situated between Stirling Castle and The National Wallace Monument, within walking distance of Stirling town centre, Bridge of Allan and Stirling University, with easy access to the main bus routes.

The Meadows is a small 3 bedroom private bed and breakfast in the conservation village of West Linton. We have quality comfortable beds and provide a healthy traditional breakfast. West Linton is 11 miles south of Edinburgh on the A702. We are well placed for access to the Edinburgh by pass(12 miles) which in turn is an easy drive to the airport and the north. Hayfield Riding Centre is just 15 miles from Aberdeen city centre in the middle of a beautiful park which was originally given to the people of Aberdeen by King Robert the Bruce.

Hayfield is a great place to enjoy riding whatever your standard where qualified instructors and 45 well trained horses and ponies are there just to make your riding experience a happy one whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider.

Voted the top riding centre in the UK 2006 it's worth a visit even if its only to watch the riders ride! 

A registered historic building and landmark owned by the National Trust for Scotland Historic charm warms the Auld Haa, originally built for the laird of the island in the year 1700. A gathering place that has shown hospitality to many travelers, notably Sir Walter, who visited here in 1814, he was interested in the Islands history and the Spanish Armada shipwreck, the El Gran Griffin of 1588.

Highlands Unbridled offer pony trekking for all ages and abilities.  Situated close to the beach means that we can offer beach rides  - a nice sensible walk along the beach for beginners and an exhilerating gallop along the sand for experienced riders.

Wheems is a small organic farm,family-run,producing organic food for the local market.The buildings have been renovated by the owners using traditional materials.Wheems is situated on a south facing slope looking down to sandy bays and cliffs 5 minutes away.

Lochhouses’ fabulous new safari tents snuggle under the trees on the soft sandy dunes by the beach – perfect for the luxury camper who prefers “glamping” to camping !  All tents have wood-burning stoves and WCs. Hot showers, beach store, BBQ and campfire facilities are nearby as well as our newly created Cock-a-Doodle Kids Corner with chickens, ducks, bunnies, lambs, ponies – and our newly arrived “African hens” (guinea fowl) as well as a ‘tree house’ and pirate boat!
